Prof. Oyewale becomes V.C   Babcock University

An internationally trained professor, Professor Afolarin Oyewale has been inaugurated as the President and Vice-chancellor Babcock University, Ilishan Remo.
The inaugural ceremony took place at the stadium of the University, having in attendance governing council members of the University among other top management staff.
The outgoing Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. Ademola Tayo enumerated his success story over the years as president of the Institution as being gracious, stating that he was able to build on the solid foundation of the founding fathers of the citadel.
He reveals his catalogue of impact in the area of infrastructures, pointing out that his administration was able to provide the required facilities needed by the University to maintain its global standard. 

He also revealed his contributions towards ensuring that all courses of the University where accredited and graduates of the University where trained and well baked for the industrial sector.
In an acceptance speech presented by the new president of the institution Prof. Afolarin Oyewale pledged to upscale the institution and further protect the positive ideals of its founding father by sustaining its mission statement.

He added that the digital transformation of the Institution would be a continuous exercise, leveraging on available opportunities to achieve the desired results.
Prof. Oyewale pledged to focus on innovation that would raise the flag of the institution aloft,  building student to be proactive and responsible future leaders thereby making them to be job creators and not job seekers.
He stated that Babcock University Teaching Hospital is one of the best Medical Institutions in Africa and the Institution would continue to maintain this standard by upgrading its facilities and retraining its staff regularly to remain the best in their various duties to the public.
After this inauguration a media party was organized to further brief media men on the relevant information as it affects Babcock University and modalities the institution have put in place to address the various challenges affecting the citadel of learning.
